The World Beer Pong Tour, LLC is a company that promotes and produces beer pong tournaments in the northeastern United States.
Started in the Fall of 2006, the tour, then known as the 'New York Beer Pong Tour', originally began as a six-city stint through New York State. The company started with the goal of legitimizing the sport of beer pong by hosting professional tournaments in local bars with a standardized set of rules. Instead of concentrating in one area, the WBPT concept was to create a 'tour', traveling around to different cities, hosting tournaments, and awarding prizes.
Since its inception, the company has grown immensely, now spanning nearly twenty cities throughout New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. Two 'Beer Pong-Mobiles' constantly criss cross the North East US, and over 100 beer pong 'divas' and reps help promote and work the events. To date, over $200,000 in cash and prizes has been awarded to the winners of our tournaments.
With the launch of the World Beer Pong Tour's new website, worldpongtour.com, the WBPT is hoping to create an online hub for beer pong players in the region. Users have the ability to create their own pages within the site as well as partner with other players to create teams. Players and teams will have tournament history and statistics uploaded after each event with the ability to compare their successes with others.
It is the hope of the World Beer Pong Tour to continue expanding geographically as well as to continue furthering the goals of legitimizing and professionalizing the sport of beer pong. All company contact should be directed through the contact page of this website.
