Coach's Tavern  - Ann St., Hartford, CT

Forget what you thought you knew about Coach's. With a new Ann Street location steps from the XL Center, classy decor and a tavern menu, it's a whole new ball game at this fan favorite sports bar.

Before closing last year, Coach's was a Hartford institution for Connecticut sports lovers to nibble a little nourishment before the big game and celebrate with fellow fans after a fabulous finish. Now that Coach's has reopened in its new digs downtown, revelers can be closer than ever to all the action. The new location has transformed Coach's into an even better place to watch and play games. The updated menu exceeds any typical sports bar's bites, making it a slam dunk for game goers or hungry sportaphobes alike.

Huskies Restaurant & Bar  - Storrs, CT

Huskies is the epicenter of UConn fandom. The only better place to measure the student body pulse would be in the student section of Gampel Pavilion on game day, amidst fans dipped in full body blue-and-white paint. But since teams rarely play on their home courts during the tournament (at least the men’s teams), Huskies Restaurant & Bar is the de facto arena in which UConn fanatics congregate.

Located around the corner from Gampel, with abundant Huskies memorabilia and numerous televisions, this sports bar/nightclub is a fitting place for rabidly rambunctious fans to let loose. Plus, the drinks are unbelievably cheap. After the sun goes down, it becomes the premier campus dance club, spinning a host of Top 40 and hip hop to move to while (hopefully) celebrating a post-game victory.
